​  P.A.C.E. Cultural Celebrations and Events


As a part of P.A.C.E.'s mission, we celebrate the importance of culture while honoring our youth. P.A.C.E. organizes special events throughout the year in addition to participating and supporting other positive events in the community. Our cultural events bring pride and unity in the community through a collective of dance, music, poetry and spoken word for social justice.


Kwanzaa Celebration
A Celebration of Family, Community and Culture in partnership with the Black Community Information Center. Umoja - 1st day of Kwanzaa December 26th the Roxbury YMCA

Black Heritage Celebration
Annual Black Heritage celebration, honors the past, while recognizing the future. The celebration is held every February at various local venues. 


"I Am Free" Juneteenth 
Youth Achievement Celebration
Remembering the importance of Freedom, while honoring our youth who strive to make a difference, in partnership with Mattapan Cultural Arts Development and Mattapan United every June in Mattapan.

Marcus Garvey Unity Day 
The Unity celebration brings together youth, families, and community members at the end of August united through music, song, dance and spoken word. In honor of Marcus Garvey and recognizing the importance of the Pan African colors; red, black and green.
