Arts Academics Awareness Achievement

P.A.C.E. Straight A’s Initiative is designed to teach cultural education through literacy and Arts for achievement. P.A.C.E. provides a healing environment that inspires and promotes self-confidence and positive self-esteem. With a cultural focus and thematic curriculum, students are engaged in cultural enrichment activities, literacy projects as well as monthly cultural celebrations. Each month students learn and explore the many cultures of people of African descent including Native American and Latino Heritage. Students take part of structured lesson plans that include vocabulary in different languages, important historical leaders,  identifying countries of the African diaspora, eat traditional cultural foods, play cultural games and lots more.
